Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you use our mobile application GymBuds.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

a. Personal Information

-When you register or interact with the App, we may collect: Name, Email address,Phone number,

-Profile picture or username, Social media account details (if you sign up via social login)

b. Non-Personal Information

-We may also collect:

-Device information (model, OS version, device ID)

-App usage data (how often you use the app, features used)

-Location data (if you allow access)

5. Data Retention

We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it to provide

GymBuds to you, and no longer than the periods described below.

1. Account data (name, email, phone number, profile picture, username, social login details): kept for as long as your account is active.

2. Content you create (posts, photos, comments, clubs, events, gym connections and follows): kept for as long as your account is active, or until you delete the item.

3. Chat messages and conversations: kept for as long as your account is active.

4. Device and app usage data (device model, OS version, device ID, features used): kept for up to 24 months, then deleted or turned into anonymous statistics that can no longer identify you.

5. Location data: kept only for as long as needed to show you nearby gyms, users and events.

6. Account deletion: when you delete your account, or ask us to delete it, we permanently erase your personal information and your account content from our active systems within 30 days. Copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 more days before those backups are overwritten.

7. Legal exceptions: we may keep limited information for longer where the law requires it, or where we need it to resolve a dispute, enforce our terms, or prevent fraud and abuse. We delete it once that purpose is met. Anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot be linked back to you or your device are not covered by this section, as they are no longer personal data.

6. Your Privacy Choices

You can:

1. Access or update your profile information at any time

2. Disable location access from your device settings

3. Request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us at axelsardou@gmail.com

7. Children’s Privacy

-Our App is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

-We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the App with an updated “July 28, 2026” date.
